PH 320 Daily Notices

10/24/11: There will be a help session for the exam on Friday at 4 pm in Weniger 212.

10/24/11: I will not post a sample exam, but all of the following problems from the homework have been exam questions in the past: HW2: #5; HW3, #1, 3, 4; HW4: all; HW5, #1, 4.

10/24/11: A new set of problems is being posted for Problem Set 6, due Friday.

12/2/11: The solution to homework set 4, problem #4 as originally posted, as possibly as graded, was incorrect. Please check the newly posted solution. If you feel you deserve more points in the grading, please contact Corinne.

10/24/11: Warning: It is not necessary to turn in Required problem 1 c tomorrow. If you have already done it, hang on to your answer, we will get to this question later in the term.

10/24/11: Warning: Laurent series are the technical mathematical name for ``power series'' with inverse powers. For the regions far from the origin, the series that you will get by using the techniques from class will automatically be Laurent series.

10/10/11: Warning: The order of the paradigms for fall 2011 has been changed. PH 421 will be offered first. This course will not begin until 10/17/2011
