Quantum bound states - U. Colorado PhET Eigenstates, superposition states (inc. time-dependent) and probability distributions of several bound state systems. Congratulations - you have just found one of two hidden assignments for the first homework of the class!, due Wed 1/9: Go to this site and observe the wave function and probability distribution for states of the quantum harmonic oscillator. Copy and paste the plots for the ground state and the n=22 state and submit them as part of Q1 on the homework due 1/9. (The large quantum number limit begins to approximate the classical limit - you might think about how this is manifest in this case. I'll ask you about it in a later homework.) JT 1/5
