This is the second course of three in the calculus-based general physics sequence. The sequence is a comprehensive, introductory survey course intended primarily for students in the sciences and engineering. This Ph212 course introduces students to circular motion, rotational motion (kinematics and dynamics), fluids, wave phenomena, sound and light.
Most importantly, the goal is for the student to acquire knowledge of some basic physics principles, make sense of these principles, and develop the skills necessary not to know about physics but to be able to do physics.
